Recent researcher at CEBRAP, Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (2004-6) with post-doctoral internship at CAOM, Centre des Archives d'Outre-Mér, at the University of Aix-en-Provence (2006). Visiting Professor of General History at the Federal University of Ceará from 2007 to 2009. Since 2011 he has been a Professor in the Department of History at the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, UNIRIO, working in undergraduate and graduate courses. He has experience in the area of History, with emphasis on contemporary Global History and the History of Brazil of the First Republic.
