Lígia Tourinho is a brasilian artist of movement, an actress and a dance artist. She is a Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, 44 years old and her work is dedicated to projects anchored in improvisation, body dramaturgy, somatics and women's struggles. Portuguese is her first language, but she also speaks English and Spanish.She is PHD in Arts atthe State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Master in Arts and Bachelor in Performing Arts at the same institution. Specialist in Laban/ Bartenieff at Faculty Angel Vianna (FAV) and Certified Movement Analyst at the Laban Institute of Movement Studies (CMA/ LIMS/ New York City). She teaches at the bachelor in dance, Bachelor in Dance Theory, Degree in Dance and Theater Direction. She is also Professor of the master in dance and at the Postgraduate Program in Laban/Bartenieff at Faculty Angel Vianna (FAV-RJ). She made more than 80 art works during her 24-year career. She is the creator and director of the Choreographic Game Project (created in 2006). SHe highlights her performance in shows with directors such as Regina Miranda, Verônica Fabrini, João das Neves, Ivani Santana, Norberto Presta, Ruy Filho, Eduardo Wotzik, Marinho Piacentini and Eusébio Lobo. Her ideas, as well as the projects that were carried out, were awarded by the most important of Brazil. She was the Director of the National Association of Dance Researchers (2018-21) and is currently part of the Editorial Committee of Anda Publishing Company (2021-23). Founder and Coordinator of the Research Group on Dramaturgy of the Body (CNPQ/UFRJ). She was one of the creators and is one of the editors of the Brasilian Research Journal, a partnership between Master in Dance (UFRJ) and Anda (https://revistas.ufrj.br/index.php/rbed). She is currently one of the coordinators of the Women of the Scene work group of the Brazilian Association of Postgraduate in Performing Arts (ABRACE).She stands out for being the author of national and international articles, as well as chapters in books in the field of performing arts. He has great experience in organizing events, with many large national and international congresses, with technical and technological experience and with the support of institutions such as Faperj, Capes and CNPQ. It highlights the organization of Scientific Meetings and Congresses of Anda, the II International Meeting on Dance and Technology (II EIDCT), as well as two editions of the International Trans-In-Corporados Seminar and the International Conference 22 + 100 Laban and the Modernist Project.
