Bruno holds a Ph.D. in Informatics from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, 2020), a MAster's degree from the same University (PUC-Rio, 2015) and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP, 2000). He has about 20 years of experience in the areas of software engineering, design, development and system's integration. Recently, he concluded his Ph.D. in Informatics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), under supervision of Professor Clarisse S. de Souza, with the thesis "Metacommunication and Appropriation in the Design of the Interactive Internet of Things". In 2017, he completed a 12-month internship at the University of California, Irvine under the supervision of Professor David Redmiles, sponsored by CAPES Foundation, Ministry of Education of Brazil. In 2020-2022, he completed a postdoctoral internship at the Department of Informatics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) investigating human-computer interaction problems, challenges and solutions for advanced technologies applications in healthcare and public services, such as AI-based systems and conversational systems. Currently, I am back working in the technology industry as manager of precision software and cloud applications for LATAM at CNH Industrial, where I am one of those responsible for developing the company's digital agriculture platform.
