Birthplace: Brazil

I have a bachelor's degree and a teaching degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1999), a master's degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2002), a PhD in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2006) and a post-doctorate at the Paul Drude Institute in Berlin, Germany. I am currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL). I have experience in Physics, with an emphasis on Electrical, Magnetic and Optical Properties of Condensed Matter. Our work focuses on new materials and devices. More specifically, we work with multifunctional semiconductor oxide materials applied to different areas of interest, such as spintronics, hydrogen catalysis, heterogeneous photocatalysis in pollutant degradation, thermoelectric conversion and in biomedicine, with regard to selective drug delivery systems, bioimaging and as an antimicrobial agent. We have a national collaboration network with major national research centers (UNIFEI, UFLA, UFSJ, UFOP, UFSCAR, CDTN, UNICAMP and USP). We also have major international collaborations in Valencia, Spain, and in Keele, England and Pakistan. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
