He holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism (2002) and a Masters degree in Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism (2006) from the University of São Paulo (School of Engineering of São Carlos EESC-USP), as well as a Ph.D. in Design (2015) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ).Since 2009, he has served as a faculty member in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (DAU-UFRRJ), where he teaches courses related to the arts, visual languages, graphic representation, and the study and design of architectural form and space.His scholarly work explores the intersections between architectural thought and the broader fields of culture, art, and language. His research encompasses the relationships between architectural culture and mass media; the role of narrative structures and hybrid expressive media in architectural design and discourse; and the aesthetic and political dimensions of urban art and its impact on the contemporary landscapes of large cities.He is currently affiliated with the following research groups: GERAR Research Group on Expression, Representation and Analysis of Architecture (UFRRJ); Archives, Sources and Narratives: Between City, Architecture and Design (USP); and MALOCA Multidisciplinary Study Group on Southern Urbanisms and Architectures (UNILA).
