Graduated in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2002) and Master in Social Anthropology from the State University of Campinas (2005). He worked as an Associate Researcher at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) from 2005 to 2007. Between 2007 and 2009, he worked as a Technical Advisor to the Public Defender. From mid-2009, he joined the career of Public Policy Specialist of the São Paulo State Government, developing projects in various state public administration agencies, with special attention to the areas of public security and penitentiary administration. In 2017, he participated in the Training Course for Managers in Monitoring and Evaluation (ForMA), held by FGV / EESP Clear - Learning and Evaluation Learning Center for Brazil and Lusophone Africa, at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation School of Economics. Since 2018, participates as research associate in the research "Community Violence and Adolescent Mental Health in the City of São Paulo", the result of a partnership between the Department of Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo, and the Institute of Global Health, University College of London (UCL), UK. Between August 2019 and may 2021, he was the Director of the Institutional Development Department of the São Paulo State Department of Finance and Planning.
