graduated in Electrical Eng. at Campinas State University (1982), M.Sc. in Electronic Eng. at Aeronautical Tech. Institute (1992) and PhD. in Electrical Engineering at University of Oxford (1998). He has great experience on Electrical Engineering field, working in the following areas: high voltage systems, high voltage pulse generators, surface treatment by plasma immersion ion implantation and, nonlinear transmission lines used for RF generation. He is also IEEE member since 2005, with membership upgraded to senior to senior member in 2005. At present, he is also member of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Society (NPSS) and of the NPSS Pulsed Power Science and Technology (PPST) Committee. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
