Mara Leal is an actress-performer-researcher. Professor of Theater Course, Program Graduate in Performing Arts (PPGAC) of UFU and Professional Master of Arts (PROF-ARTS). She develops research on Contemporary Scene and Performance in the interface between creation and artistic-pedagogical practices. Researcher of the GEAC group (CNPq) and member of the editorial team of the Rascunhos Magazine. She organized the InterFaces and the Disassembly (2013/14) and Performance and Pedagogy (2016/17) dossiers, published in the Rascunhos Magazine. She is the author of the book Performance and Memória (EDUFU, 2014) and articles divulging her research. In 2017 she carried out post-doctoral Performance and pedagogies: poetics and politics of the body between Mexico and Spain: Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Cuajimalpa-México-DF) and Universidad Castilla-La Mancha (Cuenca).
