Wendel Henrique

Professor of Urban Geography at the Department of Geography and Post-Graduation Program (Master and Doctorate) of the Federal University of Bahia UFBA, with Graduation(1997), Master (2000) and Doctorate (2004) degrees in Geography by the State University of São Paulo UNESP. He have experience in Urban Geography and is author of many papers, chapter of books and books, focusing different aspects in the production and use of urban. Actually the main research is focusing in the relations cities-nature, and the challenges to the production of urban space in latin-american cities, highlighting the topic of the green areas and spatial/territorial justice. He had a post-doctorate from the University of Passau (Germany, 2010/2011).
