Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso - UFMT, Campus of Cuiabá / MT (2020), Graduated in Animal Science at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho- UNESP, Campus of Botucatu / SP (1993), Masters degree in Food Technology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (1999), PhD in Food Technology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas- UNICAMP (2005) and Post-doctorate by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (2010 - CAPES scholarship). He is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Mato Grosso Campus of Cuiabá / MT. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis on Food Safety and Animal Products, acting mainly on the following themes: meat quality (swine, cattle, poultry, fish), pre-slaughter management and animal welfare.
