Irai Santos Júnior

Bachelor?s degree in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Postgraduate (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) in chemical engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the area of chemical process development. Postdoctoral in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBa), in the area of chemical process control. I worked in the division of hydrotreating operations in the oil refinery of Petrobras (Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.), and as a teacher of higher education in Federal Universities (UFSCAR; UFBa) and Private Universities. I am currently an adjunct teacher of higher education at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG), in advanced campus of Poços de Caldas. My professional activities are related to the mass and energy balances applied to chemical processes and unit operations, focused on computer simulation, automatic control, mathematical programming (optimization) and data reconciliation.
