Graduated in Medicine at the ABC Medical School (1979) and PhD in Psychiatry at USP Medical School (1998), with the theme "The doctor as a patient". Specialization training and medical residency in psychiatry from 1980 to 1982 (three years residency). I worked as an assistant doctor at the Psychiatry Institute of the FMUSP clinic hospital from 07/12/1985 to 2007. Supervisor of resident psychiatric doctors in the psychiatric ward, in the psychiatric outpatients of the Psychiatry Institute HC-FMUSP. Supervisor of physicians residing in psychiatry at the Psychiatric Interconsultation Services at the Hospital das Clinicas Complex of FMUSP. Professor in the position of teaching assistant at the Faculty of Medicine from the foundation of ABC from 2006 to 2007, in which I graduated in the psychiatry internship course and later in the medical residency in psychiatry department at the Psychiatry Department of FMABC. Psychiatrist associated with PBL. In 2010 until 2019 I was the Coordinator of the ABP Suicide Study and Prevention Commission. From 2010 to the present date I am a member of the Mental Health Care Commission of the PBL doctor, currently as vice president of this commission. Member of the scientific board of ABRATA - Brazilian Association of family members and patients with bipolar affective disorder, from 2019 to 2022 as vice president of this commission. Scientific director of the Brazilian Association for the Study and Prevention of Suicide - ABEPS from 2016 to 2020. Currently I work as a psychiatrist in: Depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, chemical dependency, suicidal behavior, eating disorder, identity disorder, impulse disorder, disorder generalized anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, victims of pedophilia, physical and sexual child abuse, depression in pregnant women and postpartum.
