Juliana de Maria Felix

Currently, I am the Manager of Strategy and Research Development at the Laboratório Nacional de Biociências (LNBio) of the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM). I hold a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences (1999), a PhD (2006), and a postdoc (2007) in Genetics and Molecular Biology, all from UNICAMP. I am a specialist in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology of sugarcane, with 7 years of experience in academia and 8 years in the corporate sector as a scientific researcher and research leader in Biotechnology at CTC - Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira (2007-2015). During this period, I led a project on the development of genetically modified sugarcane (BT). I have experience in molecular biology, deregulation of GMOs, and project management/leadership.
