César Nunes de Castro

holds a bachelor's degree (2001) and a master's degree (2004) in Agricultural Engineering from the Luiz de Queiroz Higher School of Agriculture at the University of São Paulo (2004). PhD in Geography from the University of Brasília (2021). Member of the iPublic Policies and Government Management career of the Brazilian federal public service. Has worked, since 2008, in the Directorate of Regional, Urban and Environmental Studies and Policies at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA - DF) on research related to the evaluation of public policies and diagnostic and prospective studies on different topics (water resources, rural extension, agriculture, agricultural and rural development policies) Published works include books on water resources and family farming, among others, in addition to dozens of articles and other published material.
