Donato da Silva Filho, founder of Volt Robotics, is a pioneer in redefining the energy landscape through artificial intelligence. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering and extensive experience in energy planning, Donato channeled more than 20 years of accumulated expertise in regulation, asset management, and energy trading into the launch of Volt Robotics in 2020. Volt has stood out for its dedication to organizing information from the world of energy and developing intelligent systems that boost productivity in the generation, transmission, distribution, commercialization, and consumption of electricity in an innovative way.Under Donato's leadership, Volt Robotics has been implementing revolutionary solutions that respond to contemporary challenges in the energy sector, marking a turning point in the way energy is managed and consumed. The vision and commitment have elevated Volt Robotics to a prominent position in the industry, but they also serve as a beacon for sustainable and energy-efficient practices.Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Donato consolidated his career at the EDP Group, where he led the areas of regulation, asset management and energy planning. An electrical engineer with honors from the University of São Paulo's São Carlos School of Engineering, he also holds a direct doctorate in energy planning, complemented by research at the University of Campinas, a Fulbright Commission Scholar at Cornell University, courses in regulation at the University of Florida, and training in sustainable social business from xynteo. covering India, Myanmar, Singapore, England, and Norway.Committed to the advancement of knowledge, Donato is a professor at FIA and a volunteer professor at the University of São Paulo, where he shares his passion for regulation and computational modeling of power systems with the next generation of professionals.
