Josimar Ribeiro

is Full professor of Federal University of the Espírito Santo. He obtained his BS degree in 1999 from University of São Paulo/Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto, MS degree in 2002, and his doctorate in 2006 from University of São Paulo/Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto. He was awarded the Diploma of Merit and Lavoisier Prize for being the best student of BS in Chemistry awarded by the CRQ-IV, Regional Council of Chemistry-IV region (1996-1999). Furthermore, he was awarded of the prestigious IAAM Scientist Medal for the year 2017 due to your notable and outstanding contribution in the field of "Advanced Materials Science and Technology". Conducted the first post-doctoral fellow ate Université de Poitiers - France (2007) working with catalysis for fuel Cell (CAPES). Having performing the second post-doctorate at the University of São Paulo at the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos - IQSC/USP (FAPESP). He has experience in chemistry with emphasis in Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry subarea, acting on the following topics: Wastewater treatment, DSA, oxides of transition metals, X-ray diffraction and development of electrocatalysts for fuel cell. Professor Ribeiro current work is mainly in research and development in the frontiers of science and technology, such as energy storage and conversion technology, power technology, and electric vehicle technology, especially the synthesis and characterization of novel and nanosize materials. He is responsible for several projects in the electrocatalysis area. He is author of 55 scientific publications (papers) and research activity is documented by more than 100 research publications, ten books, four chapters in books and two patents. Currently, he is a regular member of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ), member of the International Society of Electrochemistry, ISE, Brazilian Society of Electrochemistry and Electroanalytical, SBEE, member of SBPC (Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science) and also International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM).
