Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering of Sao Paulo University (2022). Sandwich doctoral program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (2019-2020). Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the School of Engineering of Sao Paulo University (2004). Geologist graduated from the Geoscience Institute of Sao Paulo University (1999). Experience in research and development, both in the private sector and academia. The main expertise areas are geotechnics, environmental geotechnics, and sustainability, including geological-geotechnical investigation, chemical, physical, physical-chemical, and microstructural characterization of soils and residues, laboratory tests (geoenvironmental, chemical, and soil mechanics), pollutant transport, investigation and remediation of contaminated sites, risk-assessment based on human health, treatment, disposal, recycling and reuse of solid and industrial waste, in addition to the recycling of electro-electronic waste. Committee member for the elaboration of ABNT NBR 16156: 2013 standard - Electroeletronic waste: requirements for reverse manufacturing activity, having been responsible for the implementation and operation of one of the first mechanized reverse manufacturing plants in Brazil. Gives classes and lectures at EPUSP, UFSCAR, FESP-Faculty of Engineering of São Paulo, and Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
