Research in post-doctoral level at the Institute for Hydromechanics, University of Karlsruhe (1992-93 and 1998-99). Supplementary research at the Saint Anthony Falls Lab., University of Minnesota (2007-08), and in senior level at the Department of Civil and Environmental Eng., University of Alberta, Canada (2016-2017). Associate Professor in 1997 and Full Professor in 2002, at the University of São Paulo. Director of the Centre of Water Resources and Applied Ecology (USP, 1999-2001), Head of the Dept. of Hydraulics and Sanitary Eng. (USP, 2001-05). Hired as Visiting Professor by the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil) at the Department of Civil and Environmental Eng., with activities in the Post-Graduate Program of Civil Engineering (Water Resources, Environmental Sanitation and Geotechnics: 2019-2020). Presently hired (RD-Research and Development) by the company Hydro-Engineering Solutions, Auburn, AL, USA, and hired by the Auburn University, AL, USA, at the Department of Civil and Environmental Eng. Retired Full Professor of the University of Sao Paulo. Studies presently focused on: turbulence, statistical modelling, applied statistics, interfacial mass transfer, cavitation, multiphase flows gas-liquid and solid-liquid, porous media, hydroplaning, teaching tools for the interface Humanities-Exact Sciences (obtaining the degree of Bachelor in Philosophy for this area in 2015), directed to the fields of Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Applied Statistics.
