He has a PhD in statistics from USP (2009) and a master's degree in statistics from the same university (2004). He completed his basic undergraduate training in mathematics (2001), also at IME-USP. His first incentive to enter the academic world came during his undergraduate studies when he was awarded a scientific initiation scholarship from FAPESP in the area of statistics. At the end of his degree, he received an honorable mention for excelling in the mathematics course, which guaranteed him direct entry into the postgraduate program. During his master's degree, he applied for and received a scholarship from FAPESP and, during his doctorate, he received a scholarship from CNPq. His first teaching experience occurred at 16, when he worked on a project at the Obra Kolping do Brasil, teaching adults to read and write on the outskirts of Suzano. Teaching in private higher education began when, in 2004, he received an invitation to work as a Teaching Assistant at the former IBMEC, São Paulo. He is currently a professor at ESPM and EAESP-FGV, where he currently works mainly in multivariate marketing data analysis, forecasting techniques, and econometric models. At ESPM, he is a professor in the Business Administration program and in the Data Science and Business program. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
