Works as a performer, researcher, director and teacher in the area of #8203;#8203;Dance. His main research interests are the corporalities present in Brazilian ancestral cultures, affections as enhancers of the body in dance and communication with spectators in dance. The Dancer-Researcher-Performer (BPI) method has been the foundation for this research. Within this method, in which she has specialized since 1992, she has carried out several scenic works and field research on Brazilian corporeality and taught workshops. Won the REDE Stagium Grant award for creating the show Veias da Terra; participated as Resident Choreographer at the American Dance Festival; received the Caravana Paulista Theater Award for the dance show Valsa do Desassossego; ProAC 2010 award for the show Fina Flor Divino Amor; ProAC 2016 award as part of the original creation project The Body as Reliquary proposed by Graziela Rodrigues; and ProAC 2019 for the creation of the Serafina video dance. She has a PhD in Arts (IA-Unicamp, 2009), a Masters in Physical Education in the Body Image and Movement Research Line (FEF-Unicamp, 2003) and a degree in Dance from Unicamp (1995). She is an Associate Professor at the Unicamp Arts Institute, working in the Undergraduate Course in Dance and the Postgraduate Course in Performing Arts. Since 2021, she has been the Undergraduate Coordinator of the dance undergraduate course, bachelor's degree and licentiate degree, at Unicamp. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
