Miguel Gustavo Lizarraga Espinosa

He graduated in Electrical Engineering (1994) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where he also completed his academic training with a Master and Doctorate in the area of #8203;#8203;image processing and pattern recognition, in 1996 and 2000 respectively. His academic work focuses on studies of new biometric techniques and methods for personal authentication. He was a collaborating researcher at UNICAMP from 2001 to 2003 and professor at the State University of Ceará in 2004. From 2005 to 2012 he worked at the Samsung Institute of Development for Informatics in the area of #8203;#8203;innovation management and intellectual property. Until 2024, he was Research and Development Manager at Samsung Eletrônica da Amazônia, developing partnerships and scientific projects with Universities and Research Centers of excellence in Brazil.
