Isabel Altenfelder Santos Bordin

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Senior Researcher in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Currently active as a Researcher at the Department of Psychiatry - Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), but retired since March 2016. Graduation in Medical School (Escola Paulista de Medicina) (1979), Master degree in Psychiatry at UNIFESP (1992), Master degree in Medical Sciences at McMaster University, Canada (1994) and PhD in Psychiatry at UNIFESP (1996). She was a thesis supervisor at the Post-Graduation Program of the Department of Psychiatry and Head of Social Psychiatry Division from 1999 to 2016. Research areas of interest in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health include clinical epidemiology, prevalence, risk and protective factors, violence exposure at home, at school and in the community, antisocial behavior and service use.
