Bachelor's at Physics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1966), master's at Nuclear Physic from Universidade de São Paulo (1975) and doctorate at Space Geophysics from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (1989). Has experience in Geophysics, acting on the following subjects: lower ionosphere, magnetic storms, South Atlantic Geomagnetic Anomaly, wavelet analysis applied to geomagnetic data and more recently is interested is Space Weather.
