He got his Master's Degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo - USP - in 2001 and he got his PhD degree in Physics from the same institution in 2006. He worked as a post-doc student at the same institution from 2006 to early 2009, and he spent nearly two and a half years in the IT industry as a software tester (2009-2011). He was a temporary professor at USP on two occasions (during the second halves of 2011 and 2012). He is currently involved in a research project involving perturbations of Reissner-Nordström and Kerr black holes, and in another research project concerning Bose-Einstein condensates. He has some experience in Physics, focusing on Relativity and Gravitation, acting on the following subjects: black holes and numerical methods in perturbations of black holes.
