Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Centro de Energia Nuclear na Agricultura (CENA)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Postdoctoral researcher at Kbenhavns Universitet in the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences within the Plant and Soil Science section. I hold a degree in Agricultural Engineer (2014), Master (2017), Specialist (2020), and Doctor (2022) in Soils and Plant Nutrition from Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP). Throughout my academic journey (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees), I received scholarships from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). I also actively participated in regular research grants financially supported by the FAPESP, the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and Agrisus Foundation. During my Ph.D. degree, I did an exchange at Kbenhavns Universitet, working under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Jan K. Schjrring. Throughout my bachelor's, I worked in ESALQ Jr. Consulting (2010-2011), and carried out two scientific research projects. The first project was carried out at the Plant Nutrition Laboratory of the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (CENA/USP) from 2011 to 2012, supported by scholarship from PIBIT/CNPq. The second project took place at the Department of Soil Science at ESALQ/USP from 2012 to 2014, with funding from FAPESP. In the final year of my bachelor's (2014), I did an internship at the National Laboratory of Bioethanol Science and Technology (CTBE/CNPEM). Since 2017, I have been actively involved in guiding students enrolled in specialization courses titled "Soils and Plant Nutrition" and "Plant Physiology, Nutrition, and Plant Development"; these courses are organized by SolloAgro (University of São Paulo). The work lines mainly involve nitrogen (N) and silicon (Si) fertilization of plants (sugarcane, wheat, and barley) with a focus on the absorption, assimilation, and redistribution by the plant using isotopic technique (15-Nitrogen), fertilizer application method (i.e., via foliar and via soil), and N dynamic in the soil-plant-environment system. My research also encompasses projects that asses soil management systems, crop rotation, and the utilization of biostimulants to mitigate abiotic stresses. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
