Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Araraquara. Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas (FCFAR) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
I initially developed my professional career in academic research within the areas of Cytogenetic and Molecular Biology during an internship program at MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX), as well as in my Master s Degree in Science, Ph.D, and Post Doctoral Fellow, applying that knowledge in the professional market through the implementation and performance of laboratory tests. After, I migrated to applied research in the field of diagnostic kits development for human diseases based mainly on molecular and immunological reactions. In this period, I developed several projects and managed others as Coordinator in the area. Throughout this period, in parallel with these activities, I worked as a professor for Cellular and Molecular Immunology courses. The products developed in such projects which I took part went into production, which prompted me to work in this field and specialize in Lean Production, focusing in the quality improvement of production processes as well as the elimination or reduction of waste from such processes. Thus, I am a professional with expertise in all stages of product development, from its conception to its production. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
