Antonio Carlos Busoli

Has Bacharels degree in Agronomy at FCAV-UNESP - Jaboticabal, SP (1974), Masters in Entomology at ESALQ - University of São Paulo (1979) and Ph.D. in Entomology at ESALQ - University of São Paulo (1980). In 1975, was approved as an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Entomology at UNESP-FCAV-CAMPUS JABOTICABAL; In 1979 became Assistant Professor and in 1980, Assistant Professor. Following an academic career in 1985, became Associate Professor at UNESP and went after Public Tender for the post of Associate Professor. In 1992, after public tender papers and evidence has been approved for the post of Professor Titular at UNESP. Has experience in Agronomy-Plant - Agricultural Entomology, acting on the following topics: Biological Control and Integrated Pest Management, Methods of pest control, semiochemicals (pheromones), etc.. He teaches undergraduate and graduate, directs undergraduate students, Postgraduate, Postdoctoral and Internship Extracurricular. Also has Admistration Experience Public Management at UNESP, already occupying positions of Head of Department, Assistant Unit Supervisor (Center for Integrated Pest Management, one of the pioneers in organ studies and validation of IPM in different regions of Brazil), Program Coordinator Graduate in Agricultural Entomology (3 times), Vice-President of the Campus Committee on Education, Council Member of the UNESP University, Central Commission Graduate UNESP. Currently is also Program Coordinator Dinter CAPES, between FCAV / UNESP - PPG - EA and UFRA - Federal Rural University of Amazonia, Belém, PA. Out of UNESP has experience in Public Administrative Management . In the administration of the City of Jaboticabal was Councillor, Municipal Secretary of Planning, Chairman Adm. Municipal Urbanization Company, Vice Mayor (1997-2000 and 2001-2004 periods). Was Advisor to the State Board of Education, etc. Na Entomological Society of Brazil (SEB) was a member of the Editorial Board of Annals of the Entomological Soc Brazil Journal (1976-1978) in Jaboticabal, after being initially founded in Ilheus, Bahia State.
