Andreia Luisa da Rosa completed her bachelor's degree in Physics at Universidade Federal de Goiás in 1994. She received her Master's Degree in Physics at Universidade de São Paulo in 1997 and her PhD at Fritz Haber Institut of the Max Planck Society in 2003. After that she worked as research fellow at Sussex University in England from 2003-2004 working on point and extended defects in semiconductors. She then moved to Uppsala University where she worked as a research fellow on diluted magnetic semiconductors. From 2006-2013 she held a Project Leader position at University of Bremen. From 2013-2016 she held a Young Talent Research Fellowship at Federal University of Minas Gerais. In 2016 she became a Professor at Federal University of Goiás. Currently she also holds a Mercator Fellowship ate the Bremen center for Computational Materials Science at Bremen University, Germany. Her main research focus is on computational investigations of magnetic, optical and electronic properties of semiconductors. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
