Ernesto Bonato

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts Education with Habilitation from the Escola de Comunicações e Artes (School of Communications and Arts) of the University of São Paulo - USP (1992) and a Master's Degree in Visual Arts from the Escola de Comunicações e Artes of the University of São Paulo (2000). Artist in residence at Unicamp's Resident Artist Program, held at the Instituto de Artes, between August 2011 and August 2012. Professor at the Faculdade de Comunicação Visual do Senac, Campus Santo Amaro, from February 2004 to December 2007. Professor of Graphic Processes, Drawing, Specific Knowledge in Graphic Design, Visual Communication and Industrial Design courses. Professor of etching and engraving in the Visual Arts course at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado FAAP, from March 2004 to July 2005. Professor of Printmaking techniques at the School of Graphic Design at Senac, from February 2001 to February 2004. Assistant coordinator of Museu de Arte de São Paulo's Educational Service between 1997 and 2003. Art educator at the Sesi Art Gallery, on Av. Paulista, São Paulo, between 1992 and 1996. Founder and coordinator of Atelier Piratininga between 1993 and 2013. Curator, art educator, visual artist with numerous exhibitions and publications in Brazil and abroad. He has experience in the field of Arts, with an emphasis on Arts, working mainly on the following subjects: fine arts, printmaking, woodcutting, metal engraving, drawing, painting, installation, urban intervention and graphic design.
