Birthplace: Brazil

Architect (1996), Urbanist (1996), Master (2000) and Doctor (2005) from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo. In 2007, she won the National Essay Competition, sponsored by the Gilberto Freyre Foundation, with the work Essay on the Brazilian garden, published in the following year by the Editora Global. That same year, she taught at the Architecture and Urbanism course at Presidente Prudente's UNESP. From 2008 to 2010, she developed a postdoctoral research at the Department of History of the FFLCH-USP, with the theme Building typology of the 19th century Brazilian house from Gilberto Freyre's Sobrados e Mucambos, which resulted in the book Essay on the 19th century Brazilian house, published by Edgard Blucher in 2011 and later on at the publisher's website (open access). During the postdoctoral, she had the opportunity to teach a course at the postgraduate course in Economic History at FFLCH-USP alongside with Profa. Dr. Rachel Glezer. In 2012, she developed another postdoctoral research, this time in the FAU-USP Department of Architecture History and Aesthetics, with the theme City in the Arts. She has published more than twenty articles in indexed national scientific journals, launched other books than those previously mentioned, and organized the work São Paulo: history, memory and construction (Paco Editorial, 2005).
