Rogério Gomes dos Santos

Holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences Medical Modality from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2000), a master's degree in Basic and Applied Immunology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School at the University of São Paulo (2003), and a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the same institution (2007). Has experience in cell culture techniques, as well as in the isolation, cultivation, and quantification of viral samples. Demonstrates strong expertise in brightfield microscopy and immunofluorescence, with an emphasis on confocal and light sheet microscopy, and currently also works with micro-computed tomography (microCT).
