Composer from São Paulo, Professor at the Unicamp Arts Institute. Bachelor of Music from USP (1985), Master of Arts from Unicamp (1993) and PhD in Communication and Semiotics from PUC-SP (1998). She studied composition at the Musikakademie Detmold and at the Musikhochshule in Munich (1979-1984). Completed a doctoral internship at INA-GRM in Paris and completed her post-doctorate at the UFRJ School of Music (2007). Her musicological research focuses on the area of electroacoustic music analysis, having dedicated herself in recent years to researching, documenting and analyzing Brazilian electroacoustic music. As a composer she worked on interdisciplinary research with LUME/UNICAMP, having composed music for important theatrical productions of that Center, as well as with projects from the Unicamp Dance Department. In the 90s he developed work in the area of electroacoustic music, a musical genre that accounts for the majority of his publications on CDs. She has published two solo CDs and published several collections of works. In recent years she has also composed works for Symphony Orchestras. She was Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Music and Coordinator of Postgraduate Courses at the Unicamp Arts Institute. She was Director of the CIDDIC Center for Integration, Documentation and Cultural Diffusion at Unicamp (2010-2017), Associate Coordinator of the same Center (2017-2022) and Research Coordinator at the Unicamp Arts Institute (2022-2023).
