Graduated in Geology from Universidade Federal da Bahia (1983 ), specialist in Planning and Management of Natural Recurnos ( UCSAL - 1990) , improvement in Geology and Environment ( UFBa - 1993) , specialization in Environmental Impact Assessment ( UFRJ - 1994 ) , master's degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1998 ) and PhD in Mineral Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2003 ) . Fellow Recem doctor CTPETRO ( 2004-2005) . He is currently assistant professor at the Federal University of Bahia , teaching at undergraduate , Environmental Geology course and graduate in Geology (Master and Doctorate ) , the discipline of Sustainability Major Mines in semiarid region of Bahia.
