I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School (EP) of the University of São Paulo (USP) (1998), a Bachelor of Science in Astronomy from the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics, and Atmospheric Sciences at USP (2025), a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from EP-USP (2001), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from EP-USP (2006). I am currently an associate professor in the Department of Telecommunications and Control Engineering at EP-USP. My research focuses on the following topics: signal processing, random processes, dynamic systems, and complex networks.
