I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (EPUSP) in 1998, my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from EPUSP in 2001, and my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from EPUSP in 2006. I am currently an Associate Professor at EPUSP, in the Department of Telecommunications and Control Engineering. I work mainly in the following areas: Signal Processing, Random Processes, Dynamical Systems and Complex Networks. Among the applications studied are communication systems and networks, astronomy and astrophysics, neural models, and machine learning. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
