Luci Kimie Okino Silva

bachelor's at Biological Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (1990), master's at Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1996) and Doctor degree at Instituto de Botânica de São Paulo (2017). Has experience in Microbiology, focusing on Industrial Microbiology and of Fermentation, as well as urban forestation. Also acted as director of São Paulo Nurseries (Manequinho Lopes, Arthur Etzel anda Harry Blossfeld) in the production of various kinds os plants) and Municipal Herbarium, responsible for identifying the flora of São Paulo city. Worked mainly on the following subjects: organoclorine compounds, basidiomycetes, biodegradation, hydrolytic and ligninolytic enzymes, urban trees, Ganoderma spp. infection, production of ornamental and medicinal plants and PANC (Non conventional alimenticious plantas).
