Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Escola de Engenharia de Lorena (EEL)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I have been working in research since 1995, including undergraduate research, master's, doctorate, and post-doctorate studies, where I had the opportunity to contribute to high-impact scientific publications in the area of #8203;#8203;composites reinforced with natural fibers. I joined UnB in 2009, and in 2011 I had the opportunity to be part of a team for a project funded by Petrobras. In this project, we developed life cycle inventories of fuels and biofuels, contributing to the knowledge of their environmental impacts. In addition, I coordinated research projects with funding from CNPq, Capes, FAPDF, and FUNDEP. During my postgraduate studies, I worked as a coordinator of the two UnB programs with which I am affiliated. Developing research in #8203;#8203;#8203;#8203;the use of plant biomass for the production of composites and using life cycle assessments for fuels and materials, I have published 63 articles and trained 7 doctors and 19 masters. In 2018, I worked as a visiting professor at the University of Alberta in Canada, coordinated by Professor Anastasia Elias. Working internationally, I contributed to training human resources and research, resulting in publications in high-level journals. In 2024, I was responsible for organizing a scientific event of international scope, BCCM 7. Undoubtedly, this was one of the highlights of my career, bringing recognition from Brazilian colleagues and the international community in composites. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
