Rhowena Jane Barbosa de Matos

I am a degree in Physical Therapy from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2001), a Master's degree (2004) and a Doctorate (2007) in Sciences, Human Physiology Concentration Area, from the University of São Paulo.She conducted studies of plasticity and metabolic programming in the postdoctoral program at INRA (2007 to 2009), in Nantes, France. She is coordinator of the research group Neural Plasticity, Environment and Behaviors (PLASMAC). He has experience in physiology, with emphasis on Neurophysiology, working in research, mainly in the following themes/areas: neuronal plasticity, perinatal or metabolic programming, neurotrophic factors, neurotransmitter system, sensory-motor development, chronobiology and integrative practices such as acupuncture, phytotherapy, Bach floral, body practices - Lian gong.
