Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1993); Has a Masters in Chemistry - Organic Synthesis by the Federal University of Santa Maria (1995); He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry - Organic Synthesis from the Federal University of São Carlos (2000); Post-Doctoral Degree in Enzyme Use for Organic Biocatalytic Processes by USP-SP (2001); He was Professor of Theoretical and Experimental Organic Chemistry at the Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz-SP; He was professor of Methodology of Scientific Work, supervisor and examiner of Monographs both in the Graduation and Post-Graduation in the Faculties Oswaldo Cruz - SP; Supervises R & D laboratories with solid knowledge in chemical synthesis, substance purification, identification and structural elucidation of molecules; optimization of industrial chemical processes and patent analysis; Served as Manager of Technical Departments and Quality Assurance, having training as a Lead Auditor of Good Manufacturing Practices. He is Research Manager of the Research and Development Department, training human resources and managing laboratories. Has training in Good Manufacturing Practices; Understands and interprets RDC 69/2014 from ANVISA. Is Technical Responsible to CRQ and ANVISA (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
