Visual artist, researcher and professor in the Department of Arts (DEART) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), working in the Visual Arts Course (CLAV) as a teacher (since 2016). Post-doctorate in the Post-Doctorate Program at the São Paulo State University Júlio Mesquita (UNESP), under the supervision of visual artist and Prof. Dr. José Paiani Spaniol, with the research project Studies on Art in Context (2019 to 2021). Member of the National Association of Researchers in Visual Arts - ANPAP since 2018 Ad hoc advisor to FAPESP since 2010. Member of the Matizes Research Group, registered with CNPq and certified by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), and of the Imaginatur Research Group: Images of Nature, registered with CNPq and certified by the University of São Paulo (USP). She worked as a professor (2004/2008) and coordinated the Department of Visual Arts at the Institute of Arts/UNICAMP, Campinas (2007/2008), where she was an ad hoc advisor to the PEP/PRG Advisory Committee (Vice-Rectories of Research and Undergraduate Studies) and PIBIC-CNPq (2007/2008) and leader of the ECCOAR research group, accredited by CNPq (2007/7008) and certified by Unicamp. Head of the Department of Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts at the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP/1999 to 2000), professor of the Fine Arts and Architecture and Urbanism courses (1998/2016) and of the postgraduate course in Art History at FAAP (2013/2015). She completed her PhD in Visual Arts at the School of Communications and Arts/USP in 2004, with a FAPESP scholarship (1998/2000) and her Master's degree in 1997, with a CNPq (1994/1996) and FAPESP (1996/1997) scholarship. Graduated in Visual Arts (1983) from the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP). Specialization in Art History from the Kunsthistorisches Institut der Universität zü Köln (CNPq scholarship - 1987/1990), Germany. Collaboration, research, drawing, installation and photography are artistic work strategies with which he addresses the relations of impermanence in contemporary cartography. Her field of research focuses on three-dimensional production with an emphasis on the expanded field of sculpture (installations, sculptures, videos, photographs, artistic interventions) and on practices aimed at specific contexts.As an artist, she works in various media (photography, video, drawing, installations). Her works are in public collections: Museum of Modern Art/SP; National Museum of Fine Arts/RJ; Museum of Contemporary Art of Paraná/PR; Museum of Art of Ribeirão Preto/São Paulo, Museum of Contemporary Art of Ceará (MAC-Dragão do Mar). Her work has been shown in Brazilian and foreign institutions, such as MAM São Paulo, Paço das Artes (São Paulo), SESC Pompéia (São Paulo), CCSP (São Paulo), MAC (Curitiba, Paraná), Maria Antonia Cultural Center (São Paulo), MAC Dragão do Mar (Fortaleza, Ceará), MAM Rio de Janeiro, MAM Salvador, MARP (Ribeirão Preto, SP); Banff Centre for the Arts, (Alberta/Canada), Chamalières (France), Bienal de Cerveira (Cerveira, Portugal), Cardiff /UK (England), Galerie der Musikhochschule (Cologne, Germany), Galerie im Margarethenhof (Bonn/Germany). Awards: XIX SARP Nacional Contemporâneo, Ribeirão Preto (acquisition); XV Salão Nacional de Artes Plásticas - Rio de Janeiro (acquisition), 1995. Member of the Selection and Orientation Committee of the Experiência/ITAU Cultural Program, São Paulo/SP (2011). Participation in the Discovery Artistic Residency (supported by FAPESP), Banff Centre for the Arts (Alberta/Canada, 2000) and in the Acentricspace Artistic Residency, in Shanghai, China.
