Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Física (IF) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
Physics Graduation in 2005, Physics and Biophysics PhD in 2010. My PhD was in the biophysics field, with focus in biological molecules, using experimental and theoretical techniques. During my PhD, I worked in the experimental and theoretical research fields in biophysics, so I am capable of working with both approaches to solve a scientific challenge. In the experimental field, I worked with several spectroscopy and material characterizations techniques like fluorescence, calorimetric, magnetic resonance and several others. As in the theoretical field, I am capable of studying different systems using computational methods, such as quantum mechanics calculations, molecular mechanics simulations, and also a method that combines both for studying systems with a large number of components. I am good at creating and developing new projects, executing them with other scientists and also guiding new students in the research area. Activities Areas: Biophysics, Molecular Biophysics, Computational Simulations, Quantum Calculations, Molecular Dynamics, Fluorescence Spectroscopy. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
