Holds a B.Sc. in Physics (2002) and a B.Sc. in Pure Mathematics (2004) from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), as well as a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the same institution (2009). Currently serves as an Associate Professor (level IV) at the Federal University of Technology Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil.Research is primarily focused on theoretical and experimental neutrino physics, with emphasis on photodetector simulation and characterization, as well as neutrino phenomenology. Actively participates in international scientific collaborations, representing UTFPR in the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) and CERNs Neutrino Platform. Also contributes to the DUNE Photodetection Consortium and the coordination of scientific activities related to neutrino detection.Additional areas of expertise include cosmology, general relativity, and dynamical systems. Research in applied geophysics focuses on subsurface exploration through seismic attribute analysis and the automated identification of seismic facies using machine learning techniques. Previous industry experience includes work as a Junior Geophysicist at Petrobras (Rio de Janeiro), with specialization in petroleum geophysics.
