Head teacher at the Federal University of São Carlos, Interdisciplinary Department of Teacher tFormation (DIFD/CECH), previously called Department of Teaching Methodology (DME/CECH). Research productivity scholarship 2 from CNPq. He works in the management of the Center for Afro-Brazilian Studies at UFSCar (NEAB/UFSCar) and as deputy head of DME/UFSCar. Post-doctorate from the Faculty of Education of USP- FEUSP (2016). Master in Education from UNICAMP (1999) and PhD in Education from UNICAMP (2004), area of #8203;#8203;concentration in Mathematics Education. Specialist in Mathematics from UNICAMP (1993). Degree in Mathematics from UNISO (1989). Leader of the Shared Training of School and University Teachers Research Group (GPEFCom-UFSCar). Member of the Study and Research Group on Pedagogical Activity (GEPAPE-FEUSP). He has experience in the field of Education, with an emphasis on Mathematics Education. Develops research on the following themes: Teacher Training, Mathematics Education, Conceptual Education, History of Mathematics and teaching algebra. She was head of DME/UFSCar (2021-2022; 2023-2024), deputy head of DME/UFSCar (2022-2023), deputy coordinator of the Professional Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGPE - UFSCar), during the period 2019 to 2021. Coordinated the Pedagogical Residency Program (UFSCar), from August/2018 to January/2020. Coordinated the Professional Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGPE - UFSCar), in the periods: 2013 to 2015 and 2017 to 2019.
