Haroldo Alves Pereira Junior

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1989), a BIOMEDICINE degree from the Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá (2008), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Genetic Biology) from the University of São Paulo (1992) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Genetic Biology) by the University of São Paulo (1997), Post Doctorate by FAPESP (1998-2001). Scientific Director of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics (LGM) from 2002/2015, this experience in laboratory diagnostics has an emphasis on Human Molecular Genetics and Microorganisms. Nowadays, beginning studies of the endophytic microbiota and rhizosphere of woody trees, isolating and characterizing microorganisms applied in the production of secondary metabolites and applied to agriculture.
