Full Professor of International Law at the University of São Paulo Ribeirão Preto Law School (FDRP/USP). Graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo Law School (FD/USP). Master, PhD and "livre-docência" (free professorship) in International Law from the FD/USP (1990), (1998) and (2008); Master of Philosophy in International Law from the University of Nottingham, England (1993). Dean of the FDRP/USP from 2013 to 2017. Professor of the Postgraduate Program of the FD/USP from 2002 to 2021. Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Latin American Integration at the University of São Paulo (PROLAM/USP) (2002/2015), of which he was also coordinator from March to September 2013. Professor of the Posgraduate Program of FDRP/USP as of 2022. Coordinator of the Academic Cooperation Agreement between the FDRP/USP and the Faculty of Legal and Business Sciences of the University de la Frontera, Chile from 2017 to 2022. Head of the Public Department of the FDRP/USP (2021/2023). He was academic observer of the Trade in Services negotiations at the WTO as an invited delegate of the Brazilian Mission to the WTO in Geneva. from 2005 to 2008 Has experience in Law, with emphasis on International Law, acting in the following areas: International Economic Law; WTO Law, Environment International Law, International Trade Law, Integration Law (Preferencial Trade Agreements), Trade, Environment and Climate Change, Trade and Digital Technology, International Relations and International Politics Practices. Visiting professor at the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) (2009), at the Faculty of Law of Buenos Aires (2010) and at the University of Padua Law School (Italy) (2016). Former coordinator at the University of São Paulo of the UNCTAD Virtual Institute, a global network of universities dedicated to the research of Trade and Development. Coordinator of the Brazilian part of the project "Principles of BRICS Contract Law".Member of the Committtee of Experts of Contract Law in the BRICS Legal Forum. Former member of the List of Brazilian Panelists (Arbitrators) at the WTO.
