Paulo Laerte Natti

Degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (IFUSP) (1985). Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (AESA) in Theoretical Physics from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Université Paris VII) (1987). Ph.D. in Physics from the University of São Paulo (IFUSP) (1995). Post-doctorate at the Institute of Theoretical Physics (IFT-UNESP) (1996). From 2004 to 2008 directed the Department of Mathematics of Londrina State University (UEL), first as deputy head and then as head. Between 1997 and 2007, I worked directly in the implementation of the Master in Applied and Computational Mathematics (PGMAC) at UEL. From 2010 to 2014 coordinated the creation of the Business Mathematics course in the Mathematics Department at UEL. My current research takes place in the following topics: 1 - Modeling and Simulation in Fluid Dynamics; 2 - Simulation of soliton propagation in optical fibers; 3 - Biomathematics (birds and forest conservation); 4 - Inventory management in companies; 5 - Dynamics of Cosmological N-bodies (Dark Matter); 6- Prebiotic Chemistry (emergence of life); 7- Scientific dissemination of current problems in Physics (neutrinos). I am currently the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics (PGMAC-UEL) and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Semina: Exact and Technological Sciences.
