Maurício Luís Sforça

Specialist in Technological Development at the National Biosciences Laboratory (LNBio). He holds a Master's (1995) and Doctorate (1999) in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Participated in an internship during the master's degree at the GKSS-Forschungszentrum, Geesthacht, Germany between October 1994 and January 1995, under the guidance of Dr. K,- V. Peinemann and Dr. Suzana P. Nunes. He held a post-doctorate at the Brazilian Association of Sinchrotron Light Technology (2001-2005) in the area of #8203;#8203;protein structure determination by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy through the Molecular and Structural Biology Network of the State of São Paulo, SMOLBnet. In 2006, he joined the staff of ABTLUS, today CNPEM, working mainly on the following topics: nuclear magnetic resonance, metabolomics, structural biology of proteins, peptides and their structure/function relationships and interactions of small molecules.
