Professor of Ecology, Institute of Natural Science, Federal University of Alfenas-MG, Brazil. She is expertise in: landscape ecology, tropical forest ecology, ecology of seed dispersal from plant and bird perspective, application of Geographic Information System for landscape and regional conservation researches. The main research interests are related with (1) linking spatial resilience, biodiversity and ecosystem services, (2) habitat loss and fragmentation effects on distribution and abundance of birds, (3) Impact of land use on bird movement between habitat patches. She has published 40 scientific articles and book chapters, including three of them (Hasui et al., 2018; Marjakangas et al., 2020; Rodrigues et al., 2019) whose papers had been recognized as the most read in Ecology and Diversity and Distributions Journals. She supervised 11 masters, and 77 graduation course conclusion works/ scientific researches. Besides that, she co-supervised 1 doctorate and 7 masters. Recently she collaborated in two network projects that integrates national and international researchers to study the two hotspots biomes (Cerrado and Mata Atlantic) (FAPESP (# 2020/1779-5), CNPq (# 442147/2020-1) and FAPEMIG (# RED-00253-16)) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
