Joel Carlos Zukowski Junior

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1992), master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1995) and PhD in Energy Systems Planning from the State University of Campinas (1999). He was a professor at Faculdades Hoyler (1995-1999), working mainly in logistics. He was a professor at the Lutheran University Center of Palmas maintained by the Lutheran University of Brazil from July 1999 to July2010. From May 2008 to June 2009 he was a professor at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), Porto Nacional campus, on the course of biology. From July 2009 he began working as an adjunct professor on the environmental engineering course at UFT, Palmas-TO campus. He is a permanent professor of the master's degree programs in agroenergy and professional master's degree in Environmental Engineering, a course that he currently coordinates. He was a professor at ITPAC Porto Nacional. He was a full professor at FACTO, coordinator of the Production Engineering Course and director of the FACTO Higher Polytechnic Center. He was coordinator of the civil engineering course at FACTO. Its main research areas are: 1-Use of thermal and/or electrical energy, 2- exergy, 3-cogeneration, 4-commercial, residential and industrial refrigeration with compression (including inverter) and absorption technologies, renewable energy sources (wind, solar, biomass), 5-energy production logistics and 6-energy production from waste.
