graduate at São Carlos Engineering School from USP - Universidade de São Paulo (1985), MSc at Electric Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo (1992), PhD at Physics from UNICAMP - Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1997) and a PostDoc at NIST - National Institute for Standards and Technology ( USA). Has experience in Electric Engineering and Physics, focusing on Lasers and Electronic Instrumentation, acting on the following subjects: semicondutor lasers, electronic instrumentation, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, laser spectroscopy, laser interferometry, optical and microwave frequency standards, optical comunications and anti-reflecting thin-film coatings, atomic time scales.
