Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
Hilton Cleber Pietrobom was born in Floreal (BRAZIL). He graduated (1994) and received the master degree (1999) in Electrical Engineering from UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho), and received the doctoral degree (2002) in Electronic and Computation Engineering from ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica). He has experience in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Industrial and Aerospace Automatic Control Systems, Fuzzy Systems and LMI (Linear Matrix Inequalities). Currently, he is a Senior Technologist in IAE (Institute of Aeronautics and Space), working with guidance of solid propellant launch vehicles in order to insert a payload into a specific circular orbit with previously specified altitude and inclination. Future works of interest include new guidance strategies for launch vehicles that use solid or liquid propellants for the purpose of: (1) inserting a payload into a circular orbit with previously specified parameters and; (2) guiding a payload since its actual orbit until it arrives a desired location on the earth's surface, which includes guide it during its reentry into earth's atmosphere, thus reducing the dispersion around the desired location, allowing its recovery after the flight.
